Greg Dimitriadis has published two textbooks with Wiley:
- Introduction to Nonlinear Aeroelasticity (2017): This book is a comprehensive reference for researchers and workers in industry and is also a useful introduction to the subject for graduate and undergraduate students across engineering disciplines. It introduces methodologies from a variety of disciplines such as nonlinear dynamics, bifurcation analysis, unsteady aerodynamics, non-smooth systems and others. The emphasis throughout is on the practical application of the theories and methods, so as to enable the reader to apply their newly acquired knowledge.
- Unsteady Aerodynamics: Potential and Vortex Methods (2023). This book offers a comprehensive and systematic overview of the application of potential and vortex methods to steady and unsteady aerodynamics. Beginning with an introduction to the fundamentals of unsteady flow, it then discusses the modelling of attached and separated, incompressible and compressible flows around two-dimensional and three-dimensional bodies. The result is an essential resource for design and simulation in aerospace engineering.
